Content Management on the Move

Managing the content on your website has traditionally been a job for the desktop computer; the large screen and keyboard have proved perfect for inputting and editing copy.

Over time however the nature of web content has changed dramatically. It is now expected that new content is added regularly and user discussion is often encouraged. This has meant that content often has to be approved, alterations need to be performed quickly, and comments need to be moderated frequently.

People regularly send emails, check the news and take pictures on their phones, so why not also manage your website when on the move? Here at Redweb we are proud of our innovative culture, so we decided to stage an experiment. Using our favourite free and open source content management system (CMS) Umbraco, we investigated how feasible this concept actually is.
